Derek Lawlor’s AW11 collection featured structural, intricate hand‐woven pieces which sit against softer layered silhouettes. The collection incorporated delicate French silk chiffon with prints by illustrator and longtime collaborator, Alec Strang. For this collection, Lawlor introduced a palette of rich blues and greens to sit against his classic muted tones, while intricate sculptural pieces were seamlessly combined with wearable separates marking a strong development in Lawlor’s design process.
