Derek Lawlor’s AW12 collection focused on the interplay between hard and soft, building on his signature form- fitting silhouettes and unusual textures with the introduction of loose ladder and lace techniques.

The collection featured a mixture of corduroy embellishment and knotting detailing, evolving previous seasons circular shapes in to a more linear approach, inspired by 90’s minimilism, sculptural references and Lawlor’s love of textiles.

Mixed yarns and different knit textures of mohair, cashmere and rayon combined for a highly tactile collection of sophisticated, dramatic designs in a monochrome palette by fiery reds and stormy greys.
